Sitting out in their leafy garden at Old Farm Park, the current owners of the beautiful, four-bedroom, detached house on Verdi Close can hear nothing but the birds. They were astounded by the peace and privacy of the property when they first came to view it three years ago and still relish the sense of calm and relaxation it provides. “It is set on a cul-de-sac, within easy reach of central Milton Keynes, but it feels like we are right in the middle of the countryside,” one of them suggests. “We feel very secluded and enclosed by nature here because of the very leafy, beautiful garden – when we sit outside in the summertime, we cannot see another house and we can hear nothing but birdsong.”
